An employee of Apple in Lucknow, Vivek Tiwari was allegedly shot dead by the police for not ‘stopping’ his car when asked to. Uttar Pradesh police which is already in the limelight for the spate of encounters throughout the state came under fire after the shooting incident, only days after a video surfaced in which police were seen beating up a girl for ‘being friends with a Muslim boy’.
